Seeking Developer Interns for Analytic Investment Bank Startup focused on Private Equity-can be virtual. Open to current and recent BA/BS students. Prefer NY location.
We are seeking 1-3 interns who would like to be part of the founding team for an analytic investment bank startup, Navon Partners. We specialize in originating deals for private equity funds in private companies. We use quantitative analysis to source private companies. We use social media, data mining, and other non-traditional automated sources to pull in data about potential investments. Our process is modeled on the algorithmic, data-driven process used by quantitative hedge funds. We particularly value experience in crunching large and messy data sets.
This can be a virtual internship, but we prefer candidates based in New York who can work/visit our office (East 18th St.) This is an ideal project for a current or recently graduated student who is interested in learning more about private equity, venture capital, investment research, social media, and how to build a startup. The role is a minimum 10 hours/week during the school year, and full-time during the summer. Your hours are flexible.
We have strong testimonials from interns who have worked with us in the past.
